Friday Affair is an afternoon market where local businesses come together to offer their products and services. It's a go-to destination where you can meet friends, end enjoy some savory and sweet treats and browse an ever-changing selection of jewelry, vintage items and works by local artists and artisans.

 

Friday Affair is free and held indoors at Historic Hollin Hall, rain or shine.  Hollin Hall is located on the grounds of Mount Vernon Unitarian Church, 1909 Windmill Lane, Alexandria, Va. 22307.

Community Celebration

CELEBRATION! October 19

Hollin Hall will be exhibiting at the community festival, Celebration!  on Saturday, October 19, on the grounds of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital, 2501 Parkers Lane, Alexandria, VA  22306.

 

The opening ceremony will be at 11:00 am with renewal of the Community Covenant with Fort Belvoir followed by free activities for children including a rock wall and black ops course, a business expo, pet adoptions, local restaurants selling food, a K-9 demonstration from FCPD, and a performance stage featuring local high school groups and fitness centers with all activities concluding at 4:00 pm.   A cake decorating contest will be open to all community members with prizes for children, adults, and best in the show.  For more information please visit www.CelebrationMVL.com

Relax on 1st and 3rd Friday afternoons of the month at Historic Hollin Hall on the grounds of Mount Vernon Unitarian Church with something to eat and drink. Browse an ever-changing selection of flowers, jewelry, vintage items and works by local artists and artisans.

Something new's afoot at Hollin Hall!

An indoor craft market named "A Friday Affair" had its inaugural run this past Friday in the historic manor house. Designed by Gale Curcio, the Fair featured artists, crafters, pet services, chocolates and sweet treats.  Curcio specializes in writing, public relations and marketing.
